HMA Materials Handling has been supplying Mogensen Vibratory Feeders to the mineral extraction, mining, chemical processing, animal feed, food processing and other industries for nearly 30 years. Handling the many different applications has afforded our designers wide ranging experience in vibratory feeder technology.

The vibratory feeder guarantees efficient feeding with a high fill quota and is ideal for all products of simple shape – such as tablets, spheres, caplets or capsules. Operating personnel have a clear view of the whole feeding process.

Vibratory bowl feeders are the most common part feeding devices used to feed components in Industrial Assembly Automation Applications. Vibratory feeders are self-contained systems, comprising of a specially tooled bowl feeder that orients the components, a vibrating drive unit m upon which the bowl feeder is mounted and a variable-amplitude control box.

Vibratory feeders save users time and money on maintenance as well, because they have no moving parts, aside from the vibrating drive unit. This means 1) they break down less frequently and 2) vibratory feeder parts are easy to replace. On top of this, feeder parts and inexpensive.

Conventional vibratory feeders use rubber or spring shock absorbers, which allow movement of the drive in all directions, resulting in rotational motion. In contrast to these conventional shock absorbers, the K3 line uses a unique flexible pendulum technology which provides shock absorption only parallel to the desired direction of motion, eliminating rotational movement.
